Coloring Eggs

I spent most of Good Friday Canning grapefruit, asparagus and rhubarb. Saturday morning we got up and O Wise One threw a ham in the smoker and smoked it slowly for most of the day injecting it every so often with honey.

I made a pan of homemade rolls and Saturday night we went to visit the grandkids. Everyone had a meal of ham and several sides my daughter had made and rolls. For desert she made homemade brownies. Then while the guys watched a ballgame my two daughters and my grandson dyed eggs. This was Hank's first time and what a time he had.

It just seemed so magical to him that they came out colored. And each one was just more beautiful than the next.

And to finish off a perfect night of brownies and egg dying there were stickers ! Stickers for the eggs, Hank's face and even grandma.
