Well after $145.00 to the exterminator I still have ants. We have resorted to bait now and hope that will help. I also am trying something called orange oil. It supposedly repels them and is organic and non toxic. . It can be used as a cleaner also. I don't know how it will work on the ants but cleans wonderfully and smells even better. I may have stumbled on something here. Will keep you updated.
I think I have found something I don't like about Spring. ANTS.....
With the rains of April upon us they are visiting regularly.
I have never had ants this bad.
All suggestions welcome : )

We get ants every so often. Little bity ants, usually. Very annoying. Will look for orange oil, or maybe try a lemon next time.
ReplyDeleteI think I've tried vinegar before and I don't think it worked.
Hope something works for you!
I don't have any tips-but I hope someone does! Each spring-just like clock work the little ones invade my kitchen-they are just now showing up for this year.
ReplyDeleteThis is very strange, I'm across the state line in Kansas, and I am seeing many more ants than usual, and in my bathroom, of all places! More than any other spring I can remember!
ReplyDeleteI used this last year, I still had a few getting in, but over all I liked it. This year I'm over run with box elder bugs and ants (this with snow on the ground) I had to try something else. So far bug free, but the test will be once it warms up. Let me know how it works for you.
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed Easter!
Avon's skin so soft oil has worked for me. I had an army of those little buggers parading over the sill in my kitchen window a couple years ago. The sill was wood so I rubbed it down with the oil and I have not seen an ant since !!! Cheap and worth a try !!
ReplyDeleteBlessing to you.
