Wooly Worms

I saw my first wooly worm today. The old wives tale is that the woolier they are and the blacker they are the harder the winter will be.

You've been warned!

So Run....

It's too late for me! Save Yourselves !!!!!!

  1. I'm just going to put my Rose Colored Glasses back on and pretend I didn't read this post:)) Winter is coming way too soon! Our projects are not ready for it..... but then the quilting projects are piled up too..... so maybe winter's not so bad!

  2. I find your site very interesting and encouraging I also think others would enjoy it too...I have added it to my "Blogs to visit" section hope that's okay..Ginny

  3. Humm ... I've seen the all black wooly worms and the all rust/red wooly worms this year. I wonder what that could mean ??

  4. Granny will never let us forget-she saw the blackest wooly worm ever the fall before our big blizzard of 93 : )

  5. You are not the only one finding black wooly warms, we all have been warned!

  6. Found the biggest and fattest all black woolly worm today than I have ever seem in my life! It was almost as round as a roll of quarters! So I guess that's a big bad winter here in Ohio.. And I actually am welcoming all the snow its been a long time since we had a good winter..they have been really mild these post few years..all the storms seem to split around us and Reeve havoc this woolly worms prediction is right!
