Sinfully Chocolate Birthday Cake

We had the best cake for Baby O's birthday. I thought I would share the recipe because it was so easy. It was a busy time and I made it from a mix which I rarely do. The cake was really moist and the icing was wonderful and light made with instant pudding and Cool Whip. It was a hit with everyone!

Sinfully Chocolate Cake

1 Chocolate/Devils Food cake mix
1 cup chocolate chips
1 can sweetened condensed milk
3 candy bars of choice

Prepare cake mix per package directions.

Add 2 cups chocolate chips to mix and pour into 2 nine inch round cake pans

Bake according to directions on box

Take cake from oven and turn onto cooling rack. Take the handle of wooden spoon and punch small holes in top of warm cake layers. Spoon Sweetened condensed milk into holes and allow cake layers to cool completely. The milk will soak into the cake holes and make your cake extremely moist.

Once cakes have cooled frost.

FROSTING

1 box instant chocolate pudding (3.4 oz)
1 cup milk
8 oz whipped cream

beat together instant pudding and milk until fluffy then add in whipped cream by hand and ice cake.

once cake is iced chop up some of your favorite chocolate bars and sprinkle on top.

Refrigerate
