Still Canning


With corn still in the freezer from last year both on the cob and off I decided to put some in jars this year to save freezer space.  The corn crop wasn't the greatest this year but we did manage to get some up. I usually don't can corn because it takes FOREVER to cook.  


Also yet again more blackberries for the freezer and okra and red beans.


For Supper tonight I am going to do Bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwiches fried breaded squash and corn on the cob with the last of the roasting ears.

  1. Oh ,I love caned corn even though it takes along time! I guess it takes me back me back to when I was a child and all my older relatives had it.
