Comfort On A Rainy Day

When the snow falls and the temperatures drop in the long dark days of winter This is where I find my comfort!

When the rains fall day after day in early spring. This is what I Do! I crawl under that quilt frame. My mother's quilt frame. Baby O used to sit on my lap under that same frame and poke that needle in and out since she was a toddler. That old Louisiana Cypress quilt frame. 3 generations now.

Another one finished and hopefully many more to follow. Next will be baby quilts for my new grandson Hank due in July and a new great nephew born 2 weeks ago.

Maybe a quilt for son # 2 getting married soon needs to be done also. And time goes on stitch by stitch. Births and marriages come and go and may my old hands never fail to keep up with them : )

  3. Wow!! Beautiful!! Your stitches are perfect!!! I love it!! I am not a hand quilter anymore! Tried it but I am too slow and too ADD I think to sit long enough. Heck I can't even get my quilt finished that is still in the frames with the machine sitting there on it. Maybe about 12" more to go on it ;-)))) Someday!!

    Love it!!
