They are beautiful! They remind me of work my favorite Grandmother did. I still have some of her items and they are very special to me.
ReplyDeleteThose are so sweet! What a fun gift. Back in my antiquing days, I used to buy embroidered tea towels and other things like pillowcases whenever I found cute ones. They always make me smile when I use them. All these years later, I've used some of my favorites so much they're falling apart, but I still can't bear to part with them! :)
ReplyDeleteWhen I was a youngster, there was an older lady in our church who always embroidered cuptowels for the new brides. She made my set early because she was afraid she might not be there when I married. She lived many long years afterwards....but, I had mine to treasure ahead of time...they were the dow colonial ladies . Loved them then, love them now...42 yrs later!!!
