The Incredible Milk Container

They are magic. Ever tried winter sowing your seedlings. Works great in those white opaque milk jugs.

The top acts as a greenhouse till germination then just bend the top back or cut it off and let them grow.

Need to protect them from the sun for a few days when you transplant or just protect them for the rabbits for a bit to give them a chance to get some size.

Plant seeds under them even.

  2. It's amazing how many ways you can use a milk jug, when you put your mind to it. I've used them in so many different ways over the years. But you have shown me a couple I had not thought of. It's a "satisfying" feeling to be able to use something instead of taking it to recycling, hoping it gets recycled. Wishing you a great week ahead~
