It's A Boy !

I would like to introduce everyone to our newest blessing Owen. Coming into this world at 9 pounds and 9 ounces and 19 inches long.

Mother and baby are doing fine and the family is excited.

I on the other hand have a house full of grandchildren so blog post may be scarce for a day or two.

This birth date has a special significance for the family because 5 years ago exactly today I was diagnosed with terminal stage 4 cancer. I remember the doctor saying that if I survived for 5 years without it reoccurring  that they considered me cured. As soon as my daughter gets home from the hospital and the children return home O Wise One and I agreed 5 years ago that if we got to this point that we would celebrate so we have a very special dinner date just for two : )
