please tell me your "secrets" to beautiful Christmas Cacti. Love love love
They sit in a south window all year. Around the middle of October I close the shades, slow down the water and then Thanksgiving I open the shades back up. That little bit of darkness for a couple weeks triggers them to bloom.
thank you so much for this "help". any natural fertilizer
I like to use a fish emulsion fertilizer in the spring when I can open the windows because boy does it stink! The plants love it though just not too much : )
So pretty! I babysat my SIL's one year and enjoyed it so much.Kathy M.
Mine have a bunch of buds on it. I can't wait for them to bloom. I'm so excited.
I have never encountered the yellow before now. Incredible!
It is really more of a coral color but it is pretty. I also have a small white one that seems to bloom slower than the others. Maybe Easter
