That is what they are saying on the weather report for here too. NE Oklahoma. Boy I'll be ready for a few degrees lower. Sounds like you are able to stay out longer than I. I enjoy reading all you are able to do. Wish I could say the same.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you'll enjoy the cooler temps predicted this weekend too. I sure will! The photo of your tomatoes makes my mouth water.
ReplyDeleteHOPE YOU GET SOME COOLER TEMPS SOON...CAN'T WAIT TO GET SOME TOMATOES...

How old are your piglets? How old do they need to be to start feeding them garden scraps? And what all can I feed them?We got us a little pair to raise. Having a hard time finding info on feeding them. Course a daily biscuit or piece cornbread has them squealing already ;)
ReplyDeleteYa know I bought mine as weanlings so maybe 6 to 8 weeks old. Continued to feed them from a bottle for a couple weeks but am now weaning them to pellets for a few weeks. Then big pig food. We have already started giving them greens and fruit both of which they love. Things like iverripe blackberries, too ripe peaches, watermelon rinds. Just be careful not to give them anything with large pits such as peach pits that they can choke on and cut stuff up small until they get big enough that they can chew it
