Pizza Casserole

This is Baby O's favorite dish. We have this at least twice a month. It is so simple to put together and tastes good. It helps to satisfy that teenage craving for junk food. Especially since the nearest pizza parlor is almost an hour away. We also make our own homemade pizzas.

Pizza Casserole

3 cups uncooked pasta of your choice (I use up the pieces of left over bags in the pantry)
1 pound ground beef
6 cups of homemade tomato sauce or 2 jars of bought pizza sauce
1 small can of tomato paste
2 Tablespoons dehydrated onions
1 Tablespoon dehydrated bell peppers
1 Tablespoon dried Basil
2 Tablespoons Pizza Seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1 Tablespoon sugar
2 cups shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1 small pack of pepperoni

NOTE...Add what your family likes on pizza mushrooms, olives, Italian Sausage instead of beef or turkey.

Boil noodles until just soft and drain in colander

Brown Ground beef, turkey or Italian Sausage
I use home canned tomato sauce and homegrown and dehydrated spices. Feel free to substitue
Add dried onion, pepper and spices
Add tomato sauce and small can of tomato paste. Simmer for about 20 minutes
Add cooked noodles to sauce.
placed in a buttered 9X13 casserole dish
Top with shredded mazzarella cheese and pepperoni
Can be frozen at this point

Bake in 350 degree preheated oven for 35 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly

I serve with salad and garlic bread rounds.
