There's a miracle happening in my laundry room. More precisely on my light stand. New life is beginning. And again this old gardener is in awe of the majesty of it's emerging. Small green shoots pushing forth from the warm earth. Reaching for the bright light of the sun. Simultaneously pushing tiny thread like root down toward the earth's core. Happening over and over throughout the millennium since the dawn of creation. No less miraculous each and every time. And I as the caretaker providing warmth and moisture for this new life. Knowing that eventually this will become food for nourishing myself and my family. Another year of gardening begins and the cycle continues.
And for this blessing on this Sunday morning we are thankful.
