This is the time of year when those long cold winter nights drag on. I curl up in my recliner and watch tv with O Wise One and crochet. Winter seems to be about the only time I get to watch much television but when it gets dark so early we watch a movie or show or two about every night. Lately the crochet project has been dish cloths. I love working with 100 per cent cotton thread. And this is 100% US cotton. Yes I am still on that
SHOP U.S. band wagon : ) I love making wash cloths because I use them to learn new stitches and edgings. It's like a mini afghan.
I make these up and keep them for gifts throughout the year. Great for wedding and housewarming baskets. I love the crocheted dish cloths and think that they clean the best of any. I think I am going to use them to wrap homemade soaps in as gifts because they could be used as face cloths as well .
