Morning Visitors

One of the best parts of living off the beaten path for us are the regular wildlife sightings. It is still thrilling after all these years to wake up and drink coffee while watching wild turkeys forage for breakfast or a mother deer with twin fawns. Wild Geese coming in for a landing on the pond. Eagles sitting in the treeline. It also makes us feel as if our small ecosystem is healthy. Supporting all who live here.

Congratulations on that. Seems quite successful to me, too. :)

  2. Awesome. That's what we love too, a year ago we had Mr n Mrs Turkey and their lovely little ones crossing the back of our property near our house. Mr n Mrs Duck with ducklings the year before. We got deer coming out of the woods and we had twins this past spring too... sooo cute. Our nieghbor saw a buck in his front yard the other morning.. wish I could have seen that.

    Your place looks lovely.
