2010 Garden Update cont.

As you can see I don't think there will be an apple shortage. Apple pie filling and apple sauce will be plentiful looks like.

Plums Wow. Hope everyone on my Christmas list likes plum jelly : )

Lots of Dill to dry and use fresh in pickles.

In the mean time we have chickens that are just about ready to go in the freezer and I want to pick some gooseberries to freeze. The Kraut will be ready to can soon also.  So we continue to weed and water and wait for that next harvest to start canning again. Meanwhile it is a full time job keeping the grass mowed and the weeds down as best as possible. Stay cool out there that heat is brutal : )

  1. Oh it sure is! What apples do you grow, if I might ask? They sure look good. :) The plums do, too.
    Gorgeous garden! :)
