A Plum of a Week

Yep that just about sums up my week. The plums are ripe and we are picking them up by the dishpan full. With 4 trees there are enough for me and the birds and the neighbors too! Right now I am washing and  pitting them then freezing. Once I get them all harvested I will decide what to do with what is in the freezer. I do not really need more jam so I am thinking liqueur or maybe wine. Plum brandy would make great Christmas gifts I think.
