I have never heard of canning broth or meat with broth , cool ! I learn so much from you and your wonderful blog , thanks for all you do ! Have a great day !
ReplyDeleteYour turkey and noodles just made me think about making turkey noodle soup tomorrow; I love soup. I also need to can the broth I made yesterday and throwing some turkey in the broth is a wonderful idea. Thanks for the good ideas.
ReplyDeleteThe quilt in your banner is beautiful.
Turkey broth I have done before. :o)
ReplyDeleteThe rest will have to wait on the kitchen and the house.
Have a wonderful Sunday, CQ. :o)
This year I actually saved the broth from the turkey. Some was used to make gravy. I usually forget it, and the next day I throw it out thinking it is bad. Is it??
ReplyDeleteI never thought to make noodles, will give your recipe a try.

I love all your canning instructions! I hope you can help me. I have my Grandfather's BBQ Sauce recipe that I would love to can for Christmas gifts. How can I determine how long to process it?
ReplyDeleteFind the processing time of all the ingredients in your sauce or a similar product and use that processing time. Start with the Ball Blue Book as a reference. Most State University Extension sites also have great resources for canners. What exactly is in the sauce?
