  1. CQ,

How do you harvest your spearmint? Do you end up dehydrating it, or freezing it?

    1. I cut mine and simply dry it either in the dehydrator or hang it upside down on the porch!

  2. looks like a lot of apple pies, jelly and applesauce are in your future. I've been thinking about replacing a side fence in our yard with grape vines. What variety is that, and how old is the vine.

  4. I also wondered about your spearmint... how do you preserve it and what do you use for? I bought a small spearmint plant this year and only use a few leaves to put in my sweet tea. I would love to know other uses for it, please.

    1. Spearmint dried makes a great winter tea with honey. Just substitute spearmint for mint in your favorite mint jelly recipe. I also add it to vodka and make a spearmint extract for baking. Try lemon poppy seed muffins with a drop or two of spearmint extract!
