For The Love Of Gypsy

Another top to quilt. Baby Hank has grown up with my scottie dogs. One of his first words was "Gypsy" our girl scottie's name. I am going to quilt this for him for Christmas next year for his twin big boy bed : ) I have buttons for the eyes and red gingham ribbon for bows for each dog. Another quilt waiting for the frame.....

A grandma's job is never done.

  5. I love this quilt. And such a wonderful item for him to keep though the years.

Seeing this makes me want to finish a quilt I started when I was 16 (um!30 years ago) I still have it in my closet. Have the top done. need to finish the rest.

  7. Gorgeous! My resolution for 2013 is to learn to "really" quilt. I can only do very simple, i.e., 4 patch tops and I tack them instead of quilting.

  8. Love it! He's going to be so happy to get this gift from his grandmother! We had a dog named Gypsy. She was 1/2 terrier, 1/2 border collie. A very sweet and smart dog~we miss her.
