Still working on perfecting that crocheted dishcloth.
Instead of using No. 10 thread I am using No.3 cotton thread doubled.
You can see the larger thread on the left and the smaller thread on the right. I just think the heavier thread makes for a sturdier dishcloth with more scrubbing ability.

ReplyDeleteYou are so right about the scrubbing ability with the crochet dishcloths. My husband loves them, but I just do not like the thickness. I will keep some around though, cause if the hubby wants to use them and wash dishes, whom am I to say no...hehehe.

ReplyDeleteI love my homemade dish cloths! I have quite a few that are knitted because at one time, that is all I knew how to do. A friend of mine taught me to crochet and I have been making them this way for a while. Like you...I do enjoy the thickness of them because it has more scrubbing power. I made my Mom a few for her birthday....she loves them! Great post!
