(180 degrees) Do not boil ! Pack hot sauerkraut in hot jars and add brine to cover. Leave 1/2 inch headspace. Remove bubbles and seal hot water bath pints for 15 minutes and quarts for 20 in a hot water canner. the canned quilterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08161381921874364319noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8603192921512857639.post-42925954230441219632013-08-20T10:01:29.081-05:002013-08-20T10:01:29.081-05:00Thanks for the source for bags... Shes the bomb & one of my top 5 You Tube channels.

I saw a rascally chipmunk take off with one of my cherry tomatoes in his mouth a couple days ago.. While it was really cute & funny in one way, I wasnt too thrilled about it. I've been seeing a pair for a while running around my little lot. I may have to find a wrist rocket one of these days..

This is the first year I've ever made sauerkraut and Im so thrilled with it.. but I'd love to ask you a question.

When you make large quantities of it.. when its done, what do you do with it? Leave it in the crock? Refrigerate? Freeze? Can? Thanks! We would go out and find big chunks out of the ripe tomatoes. It turned out to be a squirrel and we had no idea squirrels would eat tomatoes. We've never had that problem before.

Looks like O Wise One has been very busy fishing. Those fish look delicious.

Glendanoreply@blogger.com
