Crocheting Stockings

It's February and I'm working on my tree Christmas tree for next year. Thinking of doing  something different next year. Trying to add a little spice in my holidays. Something new maybe instead of the same old ornaments. I'm falling in love with these little red stockings that I'm crocheting. You can find the pattern HERE.
These tiny little red and white stockings are only about 3 inches tall. Each one different..each one unique

And my crocheted snowflakes
And maybe some dried orange ornaments
And some dried apples and cinnamon

Oh my I can smell the cinnamon already. Maybe some homemade gingerbread man ornaments. And popcorn garland. I've got 11 months to work out the details.

  2. I love that you are getting such a head start. I always say that I'm going to start on such things way in advance, but I don't. Love the stockings. Love the snowflakes as well.

  3. LOVE LOVE LOVE the stockings!! I make the snowflakes then starch them stiff. Dh's gram gave me lots and lots of patterns for snowflakes, The ones on our tree came from dh's gram, I think I have 6 or 8 of them. I deffinately need to make more though.

We made applesauce ornaments with our kids about 6 yrs ago, and they still smell amazing!!!
